The following is a list of the major projects and companies that I've worked for since university. They're generally in reverse chronological order, but some projects overlapped:
In August of 2003, I started working for a company called ValuBond Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia. That company was bought in the summer of 2006 by Knight Capital Group, Inc. and eventually became Knight BondPoint. It is a fixed income trading platform built using both Java and Microsoft .NET technologies. As of June 2008, I still work on contract for them, helping maintain and integrate the private label or retail part of the system with major financial institutions in the United States.
New Media Learning provides online e-learning solutions for employee training. I wrote an online customer management solution for them using a LAMP framework. They are now in the process of leveraging this solution to provide quickly customizable e-learning programs for organizations and enterprises throughout the United States.
Buildercom is an online project management solution for the Finnish contruction industry. They provide an online repository for all the required government forms, blueprints, and other documents for construction in Finland. The product was built using Microsoft ASP technology with SQL Server, eventually transitioning to a Java based solution with an Oracle database.
While going to university in Edmonton, I wrote a database in Microsoft Access 2.0 for property management that included tracking projects and units, rent and payments from tenants, property maintenance, unit owners, as well as creating the monthly financial statements for each client. It is still used extensively, requiring very little maintenance in over 10 years.
Aside from my own personal website, I've been involved in several smaller projects over the years.
